We do a ride every Wednesday morning. Last Wednesday I started up Mt Lemmon without having breakfast. It's only a 23 mile ride from my house but I had eaten a lot the night before. I start my morning ride with Vitalyte in my bottles, usually the Grape or Fruit punch flavored. I also now take the Chia Surge with me, just one is all you'll need. I got to mile post 3 and was feeling quite hungry. I had finished most of my bottle of Vitalyte and remembered the Chia Surge in my pocket. I had that with more drink and continued to Molino Basin another 2.75 miles up with no problems. I have to admit, this Chia Surge is the best gel I have ever used. It just seems to give me that little extra kick.
By the way, I'm the one with the bottle in hand and blue jersey on.
