Vitalyte Announces Ishe "Sugar Shay" Smith As Newest Professional Athlete In Its Corner
Vitalyte is proud to announce our newest professional athlete as a member of Team Vitalyte, Ishe “Sugar Shay” Smith. Ishe made history on February 23, 2013 in Detroit Michigan when he became the first native of Las Vegas to win a world boxing title. He defeated Cornelius Bundrage in a unanimous decision for the IBF Light Middleweight title. Sugar Shay went on to win the WBA World Super Welterweight title fight against Cecil McCalla in April of 2015. A dedicated father of six, when Smith isn’t in the ring, you can find him coaching youth football, spending time with his children, or serving his community. In fact, because of his commitment to serving his hometown, February 23rd is a city wide community service day named Ishe “Sugar Shay” Day. Smith’s promoter is the renown Las Vegas based Mayweather Promotions, who has been instrumental is developing and helping unleash Ishe’s talent. A devout Christian, Smith will enter the ring on September 16th for a fight against Frank “The Notorious” Galazara.
